What is the Cambridge IGCSE qualification?

The Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) course is designed for students to build foundational knowledge and further their education. It is developed and awarded by the Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE).

The Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge O-level qualifications are equivalent grade for grade¹, thus students can consider taking up our 5-month IGCSE preparatory course* instead of becoming an O-level private candidate. With an IGCSE qualification, one can work his/her way up to a Bachelor’s Degree.

Focus On Employability

In 2023, more than 8 in 10 PSB Academy graduates were employed within six months1.

1 All statistics are based on the PSB Academy Graduate Employment Survey 2023/24 conducted by Kadence International Pte Ltd for graduating cohorts from 2022. A total of 721 graduates participated in this survey as respondents, of which 54% are full-time (FT) graduates, and 46% are part-time (PT) graduates. This survey is not the same survey conducted by the Committee for Private Education (CPE). As a result, the CPE Graduate Employment Survey may not be directly comparable due to some differences in sample size scope between the two Surveys.
