How has life been since you graduated from PSB Academy?

Since I started my school, I felt like my dream come true. As I was able to study full time the topics that I wanted to learn and excel for the rest of my life. I got the opportunity to learn it from the best people around who have spent their entire life making it easier and interesting for students like us.

What made you further your studies with Edith Cowan University @ PSB Academy

The reason I chose Edith Cowan University at PSB Academy instead of any other university or college as it had most up to dated coursework and hands on practical coursework with reporting mandatory which was very helpful in workplace for me today.

What made you embark on your course of study?

The program I chose had all the fundamentals I need to grow in overall field of cybersecurity. It also had modules which helped me gain vast experience. It taught me each step I need to perform in real world with all the risk it has to offer. So, I know where I should think twice before I can do some serious damage in workplace.

In what ways have your education with us added value to your personal development and professional opportunities? How have our services help build your character and career?

The Education I had from my bachelor’s degree has helped me understand the workspace in the cyber security field. It has also been helpful when comes to understand the danger the real-world threat actors have on the cyber world. So, it helps me think the right way and work under pressure.

How approachable and helpful were the lecturers/tutors? Was there anyone who motivated you through the challenges of completing your course?

The tutors were understanding in both class and outside the classroom if I had question and they have always motivated and help me with my curiosity. Mr. Ankit has been very helpful in my case as he was my final year project tutor, and I was overseas for the whole module and our classes were held online because of pandemic. I had some difficulties to catch up with everything, but he was okay to have a conversation with and help me understand the problems I had and was very common and how to get over it. I am grateful for Mr. Ankit to have him as my Tutor in pandemic.

What were the questions/doubts about Cyber Security that this programme managed to clear up for you.

It made me understand that cyber security is a very vast in real world and there are many parts and it was helpful for understanding which was the area I want to do majors in. Also, from Networking to Forensics, I learnt that I need to have fundamentals knowledge before further pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree

Which modules gave you the most insight into learning about Cyber Security

Network Security was the most important module I felt I learnt as it helped me so much to understand the fundamental towards cyber security. My personal favorite module would be Ethical Hacking as it taught me the most interesting topics and so much on the Hands-on experience.
