It is not uncommon to see Singaporeans leaving their 9 to 5 jobs to chase their passion and start a business. Eldric Chew wanted to share his entrepreneurial journey and educate others with his insights and knowledge. This led Eldric to pursue a corporate journey with PSB Academy as an Associate Lecturer, which also marks the start of his journey as a part-time MBA student.

PSB Academy was Eldric’s primary motivator to take up an MBA. He found himself being encouraged to gain more relevant knowledge to his area of expertise after being particularly impressed with the level of professionalism and technological standard in PSB Academy. Eldric believes that the knowledge gained from the MBA programme coupled with his entrepreneurial background will bring a fresh perspective to his classroom.

Balancing a demanding teaching job, his newborn child’s arrival, on top of an MBA programme might seem daunting to many, but for Eldric, his spirit of learning keeps him going. As an MBA student with the University of Nottingham, Eldric is exposed to modules rich with industry perspectives, fully-taught by the Nottingham Business School faculty.

While there are other master’s programmes that can help busy professionals keep abreast of new developments in today’s fast-moving digital economy, Eldric Chew decided that an MBA programme at the University of Nottingham will offer much more opportunity to build more profound knowledge. The MBA programme at one of the world’s top 100 universities (QS World University Rankings) will help Eldric achieve his personal goals and vision and imbue him with skills that will stay beyond his current project work, his next posting, or his next career move.
