As an advocate of lifelong learning, I believe it is essential to continue to acquire various skillsets to keep up with the ever-changing world.

Pursuing a research degree allows me to develop skills to dissect the issues and look at a problem in a multi-dimensional way before solving it. After my MBA, I wanted to dive into a research parameter, where I wrote several versions of a research proposal to various universities for review. However, the universities either did not have the expertise, subject matter expert or the current professor is engaged with a student. Choosing to do my Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with Edinburg Napier University at PSB Academy was a straightforward choice as it was fully taught by visiting professors, with an exact curriculum as those on-campus. In addition, they had the expertise in the area of research that I wanted to undertake.

I was able to work on my research at ease because of the university’s well-defined learning roadmap. The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) module has allowed me to reflect and understand myself progressively. The academic supervisory team would also review the development of my thesis to ensure I’m on track. I have learned to look into a key problem or issue as an academic in a multi-dimensional way, putting options and deciding the best possible outcome from the given scenario. As a Director, I make strategic decisions and chart business roadmaps in my company. The skillsets I acquired in my research contributed to my knowledge bank. In addition to my academic journey, I am also part of the mentoring programme, where I offer my guidance and expertise to the graduating cohort. It was definitely a fruitful experience, and I have established meaningful connections.

 PSB Academy has been working continuously to improve the student experience. I am thankful to the academic and administrative team, who have ensured the smooth running of the course.
