I didn’t fare as well as I hoped after graduating from ITE and I decided to begin working first to gain experience. It was only after working for a few years that I decided to further my studies to deepen my knowledge in HR as well as to progress in my career. That was when I came across the Diploma in Business Administration (Human Resource Management) offered by PSB Academy while I was searching online for an HR course.

As a student at PSB Academy, I developed confidence and understood the importance of time management and commitment when performing tasks. I am highly motivated and aspire to strive in my studies and career. Group projects allowed me to interact with my classmates, which taught me that people come from different walks of life and learn differently. We should be more considerate and patient towards one another. Communication is also essential to building relationships. Networking has honed my communication skills, which have become valuable in my job. The various modules taught in my Diploma have allowed me to better apply and understand the concepts and how it relates to my role as an HR.

My first lecturer at PSB Academy, Ms. Wong Yee Hwee was one of the most memorable lecturers I met in my diploma studies. The style she incorporated in lectures and tutorial sessions was critical in establishing a positive foundation for learning and helped me greatly understand business decision-making theory

I would recommend PSB Academy to friends because the school has a wide range of choices and supports progression for further studies, especially for working adults. The career services team also organises career fairs to help students find their ideal career path in the future when needed.
