When you were an undergraduate student, what were your plans upon graduation?

When I was an undergrad in my home country, I seriously wanted to pursue a post-graduate education overseas. So after graduating from a Bachelor in Civil Engineering, I worked as an Assistant Project Manager to gain some industry experience before eventually enrolling in a Master’s degree programme in Singapore.

It was really a tough yet exciting journey for me to study overseas. But throughout my studies in PSB Academy, my lecturers, classmates, seniors and friends all offered moral support and made me feel more inclusive within the community.

How has Career Services helped you get ready for corporate world?

I am very touched that everyone I met from Career Services is so sincere about my personal and professional well-being!

In fact, the trainings organised by them have helped me minimise my insecurities and moulded me into a more confident person today. I also benefitted from your Career Fair which gave me valuable connections to potential employers.

What advice do you have for current students as they decide what they want their next steps to be in their internships or careers?

Believe in yourself and you are halfway there.
