My search for learning opportunities in the business landscape brought me across PSB Academy’s Bachelor of Business programme from University of Newcastle, Australia. The fast-tracked syllabus, international environment and networking opportunities really appealed to me. The rest was history. My goal was set for the foreseeable future.

My academic journey through PSBA and University of Newcastle, Australia is a refreshing and welcome one. The curriculum comprises of a healthy mix of groupwork, challenging coursework and self-actualization. My lecturers are experts in their respective fields and have a jovial nature towards any queries I hold, no matter the difficulty of questions. They have coached me diligently to push my level of skill and expertise to newer heights.

The Bachelor of Business programme requires a healthy amount of work and is a manageable task for most. Coursework often requires students to apply creative ideas and compelling arguments to score better – a massive incentive for creative minds. While groupwork requires students to brainstorm and bring their collective best, encouraging synergy and teamwork.

Learning takes place in lecture rooms and progresses outside the classroom through Telegram and WhatsApp groups with my class and groupmates. We collectively discuss and try getting a grasp on topics taught during lessons, and the local and international business environment. Many of us were inspired to start our own personal projects and apply our acquired skills onto the real world.

I have made friends from different countries and backgrounds. Being international students gives us similar hurdles and perspectives to bond over. My peers help me with their constant motivation and healthy competitive nature. Networking through PSBA student clubs and events helped me interact and build connections with other aspiring students, entrepreneurs, and industry veterans.

The journey has been amazing so far and I am thoroughly satisfied with the academic and personal improvements I have made along the way. Having the support of my lecturers and peers makes it a positive and rewarding experience, Singapore, and the international audience it possesses has exposed me to various experiences and opportunities, I would have missed out on otherwise.
