Prior to my current role as a consultant in an IT company, I worked in a Danish maritime safety equipment company, where I was part of the team that helped digitalise the organisation. We were automated and streamlined manual business processes that saved many man-hours and costs. Since then, I began to develop an interest in IT.

I was looking for a qualification that included industry certification. Most of them were pretty costly until I came across PSB Academy. The course was affordable, and it offered 4 EC Council certifications alongside a Diploma, which none of any other institution was offering.

Even though I was new to IT, the curriculum had helped me a lot in my learning journey. I was able to grasp fundamental IT knowledge such as networking, radio technology, computing, etc. The fundamental knowledge provided by the coursework allowed me to understand basic knowledge and underlying technology and processes efficiently. I could cope and quickly pick up more advanced skills at work.

As a full-time professional studying part-time, I have met students like me looking to chart a career in the IT/cybersecurity industry and those who have established a career within the industry. My student experience had been pleasurable and meaningful. Learning from their valuable experiences pushed me to excel further and helped me to avoid making mistakes they had made when they just started.

The lecturers were rich with industry experiences. They would often bring to class up-to-date industry techniques and real-life case studies that never cease to amaze me. Till today, some of the lecturers became my friend, and we would share solutions to the problems we face at work.
