- How has life been since you started school!
Since school started, time management between work, school and personal life is very important so that you do not feel burned out. Maintaining self-motivation and will power helps to push through modules after modules. At the end, the effort and preservation is all worth it, completing the Bachelor degree and being one of the top graduate is an accomplishment where I did not expect, but grateful to have achieved. I am really looking forward to the knowledge and skills that I have picked up to propel me to the next stage of my career.

PSB Academy considered the relevance of my diploma and accepted to enroll me to direct second year of the Bachelor’s programme, where I am able to complete the degree in a shorter time, which is important for a working adult.

I am always keen and looking for ways to improve on work processes and personal life. Computing Science provides the learning platform to smart technologies, where my area of interest are. I am currently in the construction industry and is hoping to tap on the science and technology to unlock possibilities in creating more sustainable and green buildings, aligned with Singapore Green Plan 2030.

Group works creates more opportunities for critical thinking, boost communication skills and promote better learning. Logical thinking play a very important and necessary role in developing my career as it helps me reason through important decisions, solve problems, generate creative ideas and set goals.
- How approachable and helpful were the lecturers?
The lecturers were all very approachable in providing guidance in our course work assignments. The course notes provided are compact, clear and easy to follow through during lectures. The biggest challenge for me is the individual final year project where i have selected to build a application, but do not have any experience in app development. Mr Yatim, my project supervisor was there to provide guidance, assuring that all my planned features are attainable, giving me the confidence and motivation to trial and error until a solution is found. I was able to complete the prototype of my application and plan to further develop to be able to implement in my workplace.
- What was most memorable about your time at PSB Academy?
The classroom activities, presentation opportunities and the freedom in selecting a final year project with no restrictions.
