Student Stories

I was a diploma student in PSB Academy and through the guidance from experienced lecturers I achieved satisfactory results. It was an obvious choice to continue my degree with Coventry University at PSB Academy because there was a part-time option that caters to my busy working schedule. Moreover, the rebates given to students who progressed reaffirmed my decision to continue with the academy as I was looking for affordability.

With PSB Academy’s Diploma, I received module exemption for the Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Accounting and Finance programme, which allowed me to graduate in just 16 months and receive 9 ACCA papers exemption. This saves me a lot of time and cost in my accounting career journey.

Throughout the course, I have gained a lot of accounting knowledge and key employability skills such as organisational and strategic management skills, which were relevant to my current job scope and eventually led me to getting a promotion.  All these would not be possible without the help from my lecturers. Especially Mr. Irwin Lou. He is not only well-versed in the subject area, but he is able to break down complex concepts, making them easier to understand. I always look forward to his classes.

While there are various stigmas surrounding private education institutions, I, for one, did not experience any prejudice in my career. If anything, PSB Academy has made me more industry ready. I will definitely recommend PSB Academy to those who are looking to enhance their knowledge in accounting and finance.
