In order to open up doors of opportunities and earn more money, having a relevant qualification plays a crucial role in today’s day and age. I chose to pursue my diploma and degree with PSB Academy, and Coventry University was because the two institutions were well known in IT.

While many may feel that the institution you graduated from is important, I never felt that my education in a private education institution had put me at a disadvantage. I liked that the course duration for both my diploma and degree were shorter. This allowed me to step into the job market and gain work experience earlier than peers of my age. In addition, I could take up external certifications to make up for any shortfalls and put myself at a competitive advantage.

The high-quality teaching coupled with knowledgeable lecturers and conducive school environment contributed to my positive learning experience with PSB Academy and Coventry University. I have gained hard and soft skills, and have applied them in my role as a Cybersecurity Engineer at Tindo. End of the day, it is more important to successfully apply the skills and knowledge gained in school to your work and continuously improve.
