I decided to enrol with PSB Academy because of the fast-tracked syllabus and the hands-on learning curriculum, allowing me to quicken my education journey and head into the working world.

While undergoing my Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality, I developed an interest in Marketing, which spurred me to take a Marketing and Business Degree at Coventry University. Something I enjoyed about the curriculum was the balance between work and life. I did not have to go to school every day, which allowed me to pursue my dancing hobby while managing my studies full-time.

One of the most memorable lessons I had was a coursework. I remember I had to create a marketing strategy for a brand. As a Fashion and Content Creation lover, I gave a lot of new, innovative and personal ideas that helped to improve the marketing strategies.

Throughout my time at PSB Academy, I learned about business management fundamentals and the ‘Dos and Don’ts’ in PR (Public Relations) and various marketing strategies. The skills and knowledge helped me land an internship at BLK J Agency, where I picked up more technical skills that pushed me to start my own Social Media Agency – Wildflower Social. Currently, I am responsible for creating content strategies while driving engagement on the company’s social platforms. I’m thankful for the all-rounded education at PSB Academy, and I have been actively recommending PSB Academy to my friends who are not sure of what they want to pursue.

No doubt, there are definitely still negative connotations around studying in a private school in Singapore, but I feel that as long as you have a passion for something, you’ll eventually reach your desired position or financial goal. I did not let the negative connotation stop me from getting an internship and later converted to a full-timer. I have since then started my very own boutique agency, which I’m super proud of.
