 Can I pursue a diploma in cyber security without a background in IT?

Yes, you can pursue a diploma in cyber security at PSB Academy even without a prior IT background. While having an IT background can be beneficial – like for those who hold a PSB Academy Certificate in InfoComm Technology – it is not a mandatory prerequisite.

Our diploma is also accessible to those who have achieved at least two GCE ‘A’ levels. Additionally, applicants with different qualifications or mature candidates aged 30 or older with at least 8 years of work experience are also considered on a case-by-case basis. We provide certificate courses and support to help all students, regardless of their previous field of study, to successfully transition into cyber security.
