Dr. Lim Chong Lye

Assistant Director

Dr. Lim Chong Lye is the Assistant Director for STEM courses at Coventry University @ PSB Academy.

He has many years of experience teaching and supervising engineering students at the undergraduate level. He has taught a variety of subjects in other STEM-related courses as well. His research interests cover cryogenics, CFD, renewable energy, FEM, CAE and product design.

Dr. Lim received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honours from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

Aside from his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Lim contributes as a Chair of the Examination and Awards Board at PSB Academy. He is also the faculty advisor for the IET-PSB Academy On Campus.

With his wealth of specialised knowledge and dedication to education, we look forward to his leadership of the Coventry University suite of STEM courses.
