Introduction
The course enables the continuation of specialisations from the final year of the Bachelor of Biomedical Science program in the areas of biochemistry, human anatomy, human physiology, genetics and microbiology. By completing the Honours progrmme, students will be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in their field and, through their professional behaviours, the values that shape the work of a professional scientist. Students will also have advanced skills in designing and successfully implementing scientific investigations, analysing and interpreting data and presenting their findings to scientific audiences.

Progression Pathway
Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours) programme, students may advance to apply for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), subject to institutions’ admission requirements.
Local Qualifications
- Applicants must have a recognised Australian Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant study area. Applicant to the course will require an average mark of at least 70 in four discipline-specific 3rd year subjects and an average mark of 65 across all 3rd year subjects
For all cases, students’ admission to this programme ultimately depends on the University’s final decision.

English Language Requirement
- A score of C or better in the General Paper in the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level); or
- A grade of C or better in English Language in the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level); or
- Evidence of successful completion of studies at secondary or tertiary level with English as the language of instruction; or
- International English Language Testing System test score results of minimum of 6.5 with no individual band score less than 6.0
