Introduction

The Bachelor of Business in Human Resource Management and Employment Relations degree is designed for students to employ entrepreneurial, analytical, critical, and creative thinking skills and contribute to diverse and dynamic organisations.

Students majoring in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Employment Relations (ER) will develop the skills to be reflective practitioners. They will be proficient in communicating, applying, and evaluating HRM and ER approaches in both research and real-world workplace scenarios and explain key theoretical frameworks and principles underlying HRM and ER systems, with a focus on ethics, diversity, and equity.

Additionally, they will also learn to evaluate workplace practices using relevant theories, demonstrate strategic understanding of complex environments at various levels, and assess the roles of key parties in the broader regulatory context.
