PSB ACADEMY – SISEU SPONSORSHIP

Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree Courses (Excluding E-Learning Courses)

• Eligible for Singaporeans or Permanent Residents (PR).
• Attained academic merit by meeting the Minimum Entry Requirement to enter the program offered by PSB Academy.
• Participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) or equivalent.
• Exhibit leadership qualities.
• Candidate or candidate’s parents have a minimum of six (6) months SISEU membership.
• Maintain SISEU membership throughout the duration of programme.
• Willing to be an ambassador.
• Candidate to submit Sponsorship Application to relevant person in charge, minimum three (3) months prior to intake commencement.
• Meet any other criteria stated by partner.

Interested applicants are required to submit the following documents (scanned and zipped):

• Sponsorship Application Form (declaration box must be checked)
• Letter of Offer from PSB Academy
• All co-curricular activity records (From Secondary to Tertiary Level)
• Academic Qualification Certificate and Corresponding Examination Results/ Transcript
• Testimonial(s) for industrial/ professional attachment(s) (if applicable)
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) (Comprehensive details that consist of your personal information, educational, work experience etc)

• The Sponsorship Recipient is to start the course in the above-mentioned cohort at PSB Academy, Singapore and complete the course within the time frame stipulated in the Overall Schedule.
• Each Sponsorship Recipient must achieve an average of seventy five percent (75%) attendance and shall sit for all prescribed assessments for the duration in which the Sponsorship Recipient is in receipt of the PSB Academy – SISEU Sponsorship.
• Each Sponsorship Recipient is expected to pass each module every term.
• Each Sponsorship Recipient shall not be allowed to switch his or her academic course upon the grant and acceptance of the PSB Academy – SISEU Sponsorship. Undergraduate/Postgraduate students transferring to on-campus will not be eligible for the sponsorship.
• In the event a Sponsorship Recipient wishes to defer his or her application for admission to the next academic year, the grant of the PSB Academy – SISEU Sponsorship will not be deferred automatically. Any such deferment of the grant of the PSB Academy – SISEU Sponsorship, if granted, shall be at the joint discretion of the Parties.
• The Sponsorship value equivalent to the course fees covered by each PSB Academy – SISEU Sponsorship will be deducted from the Course Fees payable, and the balance shall be paid in instalments according to the breakdown shown in the PSB Academy Student Contract between PSB Academy and the Sponsorship Recipient.
• Each Sponsorship Recipient shall not be entitled for any other PSB Academy promotions, assistance or incentives including but not limited to any progress rebate, referral fees and/or other sign-up incentives.
• Each Sponsorship Recipient applicant shall not be allowed to hold any other bursary, funding, financial aid and/or scholarship offered by PSB Academy.
• The Sponsorship Recipient is expected to take on the role of Student Ambassador in representing PSB Academy at information sessions, during official guest visits or other public events throughout the duration of the course.
• Each Sponsorship Recipient is to be involved in any five Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities initiated by PSB Academy throughout the course of study and be featured in the publications/and or promotions of PSB Academy and in any other student recruitment promotion activities.
• Should Sponsorship Recipient be actively involved with community involvement activities with other external organization throughout the course of study, Sponsorship Recipient is to provide a letter of certification as proof. CSR Committee Chairperson may consider accepting the activity to offset against the number of CSR activities organised by PSB Academy.
• Sponsorship Recipient can only offset up to two (2) external activities.
• The Sponsorship Recipient, as a SISEU member, must continue to maintain active union membership for the entire duration of the Sponsorship Recipient’s course.
• The Sponsorship Recipient, as a SISEU member, is expected to volunteer at SISEU’s events throughout the duration of the Sponsorship Recipient’s course.
• The award recipient shall not be entitled for any other promotions offered by PSB Academy, assistance or incentives including but not limited to any progress rebate, funding, referral fees and/or other sign up incentives.
• In the event a Sponsorship Recipient did not meet the above Terms & Conditions, terminates, withdraws, or abandons his or her academic course prior to its completion for any reason whatsoever, the sponsorship will be terminated prematurely. PSB Academy and SISEU may claim immediate repayment of all sponsorship monies that had been disbursed. Any sponsorship schemes in future will be considered on case-by-case basis.All other Terms and Conditions as specified in the Sponsorship Letter will be applicable.

Existing students are not eligible for any of the sponsorship programmes.

Late applications will not be considered.

All Diploma and Undergraduate Degree courses as published in the PSB Academy’s website are open for Sponsorship application, unless otherwise informed by PSB Academy. Pre-Diploma level courses, Doctorate courses, short courses are not applicable.
